AcneNoMore Program Day 15

Day 15... I am so bad at these intros so today, enough rambling. I am going to just jump into it.

For breakfast I had fruit salad followed by some clementines for snack. Then I had some raw wraps for lunch which I basically have everyday because I'm not very creative with my meals. And then we went out for dinner!! Yup! To restaurant days eating out. Now I ordered a salad which was actually super healthy. I didn't add any dressing and it had romaine lettuce, carrots, cucumber, tomato, onion and chicken. So this is basically a salad that I can easily make. The only bad part of the meal is the chicken. Now in the AcneNoMore program during the NSC portion you can eat white meat. However my goal is to only have it about once a week and keep all the other protein in my vegetables mostly and sometimes in eggs and fish.

All in all the day was good but I did have a little more stress than usual. I'm trying to stay positive about the program even though as of now I haven't seen any magical results, which I guess is expected.

Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 14

I can't believe it's already been two weeks since I started this program. In some ways it seems like its gone by so fast but in others it seems like it will never end. But at the end of this post as promised I will had updated photos of my skin.

So on day 14, I had a pineapple, strawberry, blueberry and orange which wasn't my best creation. Then I skipped a snack and had one of the biggest meals I've had in two weeks. And this lunch was at... yes... a restaurant. Now it wasn't my choice but that's what happens when you're with the family. And here's where I feel guilty :( I cheated! Mind you the menu was limited but I had a white wrap (!) with lettuce, chicken, tons of mayo (!!) and bacon bits (!!!) I know  I'm terrible so I'm just not going to talk about it. After that I had fruit salad which is also a sin because I shouldn't of had fruit after lunch. And finally i had a kale salad with cucumber, zucchini and tomato.

So basically my willpower wasn't very strong today but still this wasn't my healthiest day ever.

AcneNoMore Program Day 13

Hey guys and welcome back to my daily updates on day 13 of my AcneNoMore experience. I've got to say, if your thinking of starting this family I recommend getting everyone that lives with you on board. If you live alone, prefect! You're set. But if you live will a super unhealthy family like mine, you better hope there's a supplement for willpower.

For breakfast I had a banana-blueberry smoothie that also included kale and orange. This was pretty good but I still have chunks of kale in it. If any of you guys know any tips on how not to make that happen please leave them in the comments below. Then I had an Asian pear for a snack and fruit salad for lunch. The fruit salad had cantaloupe, strawberries, grapes and pineapple and is delicious. Then I of course forgot I have an afternoon snack and had chicken Caesar salad for dinner which was really good.

Day 13 was really good and I spent it in the sun at my cottage. There was little stress and I do fell like my acne is getting better. But for a better look at my progress, stay tuned for tomorrow's post where I'll show pictures from before the program, the end of the first week and then now, the end of the second week.

Love you guys,
Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 12

So yesterday was my 12th day of the AcneNoMore program. It seems hard to believe that it's already been 12 days but in some ways it also seems like the program is going to be so long. I will admit, I'm already fantasizing about all the foods I'll be able to eat after the program. When the program is done I think that I will start eating meat and a little bit of grains and dairy. But overall I still want to eat really healthy.

For breakfast I had fruit cereal which was strawberries, peaches and raspberries with almond milk. This is one of my favourite breakfasts. Then for snack I had an orange. Next for lunch I had the same vegan burrito I had the other day. I know, I need to look up more recipes. After that I didn't have a snack. I really need to start haven an afternoon snack again. The problem I'm having is that I can't have fruits after lunch so my afternoon snacks always seem really unappealing. And finally for dinner I had a salad with iceberg lettuce, tomato, carrot and zucchini.

Overall the day was good and I finally had an Epsom salt bath again. Also, I need to start working out way more. Yesterday, my whole workout was just 50 sit-ups. I know that may seem like a lot but what I really need in a 30 minute cardio session.

Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 11

Yay!! Juicing's over. Like I said in my last post, it really wasn't that bad but it is nice to have solid food again. And yesterday was also my birthday so it was nice not to have just juice on my birthday. But nonetheless there still wasn't any birthday cake or ice cream. I know it's a sacrifice now so I'm just hoping its all worth it in the end.

When just coming off a juicing you want to pace yourself and eat foods that are easy to digest. For example, eat fruit high in water instead of a steak. For breakfast I had a smoothie. Starting of with a smoothie is a great breakfast for after a juice fast because they are more filling and thick but still not a solid food and therefore easy to digest. Then I had a peach for a snack and a peach and strawberry spinach salad. The book also recommends eating a lot of salads too during this point. Also, the two days after the juicing are detox diet where you don't eat any fish, meat, dairy, grains or eggs. So basically your eating raw fruits and vegetables.

After that I had celery and peanut butter for a snack. And followed is dinner where I had a wrap made of romaine lettuce with tomato, cucumber and carrots. During detox days of the program you are also supposed to take an evening Epsom salt bath. But to be honest I didn't have one because I justified my laziness with the fact that I was my birthday. Also, even though it was my birthday it was a very stressful day. Lets just say it wasn't the birthday I though I was going to have. Anyways, I'm looking forward to my skin getting clearer and reaping the rewards of this program.

To anyone who has had a sucky birthday,
Good Luck

AcneNoMore Day 10

I can't believe I have already gotten through 10 days of the program and one sixth of the program. Yesterday was my last day of juicing and I'm kind of glad. Juicing overall was a very positive experience for me but I'm ready for real food again. I'm actually really surprised that I didn't have massive cravings for food or extreme hunger. I can't tell yet if the juicing is helping my skin but I really hope it pays off.

After my morning protocol, primal defense, EFAs and vitamins C and B I had breakfast. For breakfast I had a cherry, strawberry and apple juice. This juice was really good. It seems like I basically seem to like all of the fruit juices I try. Then for snack I had another apple and pear juice. I know I've been repeating this juice thoughtout the whole juicing process but what can I say, it's good and easy. Then for lunch, sticking with the redundancy, I had the same lunch as yesterday when was grapes, apple, cucumber and kale. Then because I had a super late lunch, I skipped snack and had a kale, parsley, carrot and cucumber juice. Although this juice was disgustingly coloured, it was ok... I guess.

At the end of the day the juice process wasn't so bad. If you want to try juicing I recommend planning everything out and leaving nothing to laziness. I it does help my skin I would certainly do it again. And I will make sure to keep you up to date on how it effects my skin.

Anyone who is interesting in juicing!
Good Luck :)

AcneNoMore Program Day 9

So the other day was my second day of juicing. And just so you know, every day I have been doing at least 10 to 20 minutes of physical activity each morning.  I will admit that throughout the day I felt mostly fine but just kind of tired all the time. Also, whenever I bent down and then stood back of again my vision would go a little blurry. I have had the same symptoms a few months ago when I first started a new diet.

For breakfast I had a juice that no joke, was incredible! I mean if this juice was sold at a start, I would totally by it. The juice was made of mango, strawberries and blueberries and was to die for. Then for a snack I had an apple and pear juice. Next for lunch I had a juice with kale, apple, grapes and cucumber. This juice although it doesn't sound very good was actually really delicious. After that I had didn't have a snack which I really need to start doing again. And finally for dinner I had a carrot, kale, parsley and cucumber juice which was... doable.

Throughout the day I also drank several glasses of lemon water and had an Epsom salt bath. I really hope these daily updates are helpful. They not only serve as my diary but also as support because I know how emotionally draining having acne can be.

To everyone who finds these posts helpful,
Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 8

Hey everybody and thank you to everyone who follows my daily updates and feel free to leave comments down below. So yesterday was day 8 and the very first day of the 3 day juice cleanse and my first time fasting ever! I really wanted to do the juicing because I believe that done correctly it can really benefit your health and hopefully my skin. The juicing is probably one of the most extreme parts of the program but I believe it is a crucial step. Basically, the point of juicing or any fasting for that matter is so that by only drinking liquids, your body can spend all of its extra time and when you sleep, fighting against viruses and healing your body.

From what I read in the AcneNoMore book, juicing is a great way to detoxify your body and skin. However, there are some things you need to do during the juicing, apart from the juicing. Number one, is in the morning, only take water soluble vitamins like B and C, primal defense and your EFAs. The book explains that even though your body won't be digesting food, it will still have to digest the pills. That's why post of the supplements he recommends aren't supposed to be taken during the juicing as it can counteract the benefits of juicing. Also, you must take epsom salt baths for 15 minutes each night and exercise. It's important to exercise during the juicing because juicing slows down your metabolism. In order to bring your metabolism back up, exercise is key, however don't run or lift weights, as it is to tough on your joints and body. Finally, the book suggests taking olive oil on an empty stomach during each day of the juicing. To be honest, I've totally been forgetting so I think I'll skip that part.

Now one part that was really intimidating for me was making a good juice. Luckily, there are tons of websites with fairly simple recipes. For breakfast, I started with an apple and pear juice. This was actually pretty good and the juicer was super simple to use. Then, because my house was super low on healthy foods, I had tomato juice for a snack which wasn't as bad as it sounds. Then again, I do love tomato. Next for lunch, I had an apple, cucumber, kale and grape juice. Usually, like in smoothies, the kale dominates but this juice was really good and I only tasted the apple and grape. Then, I didn't have time for a snack and skipped straight ahead to dinner where I had a carrot, celery, asian pear and cucumber juice. This wasn't the worst thing I've every tried but the celery was super strong and I detest the taste of celery.

Throughout the day I also drank tons of lemon water which I actually prefer over regular water now. I think my biggest concern about the juicing was feeling hungry. Surprisingly, I was hardly hungry at all. During the whole day I think the only times I were hungry were just before meals. The juicing is so far a lot easier than I thought and I'm looking forward to the results.

Lastly, in the night I did a redmond clay mask with lavender oil in it. This mask, though hard to get off, was great and it left my skin really refresh and a lot less inflamed. Then, I had an epsom salt bath for 15 minutes with 150g of epsom salts which was a lot better then the night before's. And no light headedness!

To all the people who are excited about juicing,
Good Luck :)

AcneNoMore Program Day 7

Hello to you all. Congratulations to us all because we have finished the first week of the AcneNoMore program! Yay! It feels so good to already be through the first week of the program. It occurred to me this morning that through this whole process I have already mentioned my acne. So at the end of this post I have included before pictures and current pictures of my skin and I will do this every week.

So starting in the beginning of the day I had fruit salad for breakfast. This was the same fruit salad as I had yesterday for a snack with grapes, cantaloupe, strawberries and pineapple. The fruit was actually delicious but I had to eat it while everybody else ate pancakes. Yes pancakes. Ugh! This program better work. Then for a snack I tried eating a pomegranate but it was just so gross so I ate more fruit salad. Next for lunch we were really low on food at the cottage so I had a spinach salad with peach. The salad was bland but it was decent. Then after that I had cucumber and tomato for a snack and then another spinah salad for dinner. But this time I had it with cucumber, zucchini and carrots.

So the past two days I have been on a detox diet. And in this part of the program you are supposed to take Epsom salt baths each night. Because I was at the cottage on day 6, my first Epsom salt bath was last night. I put 150g into my tub and even downloaded and app to play relexjng music. The AcneNoMore book said to soak for 15 minutes. However I only lasted for 10 minutes. This happened for two reasons. First of all, the water was way to hot and secondly, I got a little light headed which is none to be one of the side effects in you're a beginner. Also, I did another milk mask.

Here is the before picture of my skin:

Morning Protocol

So as I'm sure you guys have all been waiting for (not really) I have my morning protocol. This routine is straight from the AcneNoMore program and I don't own any rights and I am not a doctor or dermatologist. But after those disclaimers, enjoy.

1. As you wake up, steam your face for five minutes while having a towel like a tent around your head

2. Wash your face with a tea tree oil soap. This soap should be paraben free and as natural as you can get

3. Apply a clay mask for treating blackheads. Mix 1/4 of a tbsp apple cider vinegar with 3/4 tbsp of clay for the perfect amount for one person

4. Apply the secret baking soda mask. Even though the book calls it a mask it's really a gentle exfoliator. The scrub is made up of 1 cup baking soda, 3 tablespoons table salt and 1 tablespoon baking powder

5. Next, wash your body with a tea tree oil bodywash

6. Apply the apple cider vinegar regimen to any inflamed areas or spots. Mix 1 drop of apple cider vinegar with 9

7. Apply the tea tree oil regimen to any inflame areas or on spots. Never use 100% tea tree oil on your face as it will burn. Ideally, get 20% tea tree oil and apply it straight to your face. If it's more than that, mix it with jojoba oil to get a 1:4 ratio. For example, if you have 100% tea tree oil, mix one drop of that with 4 drops of jojoba oil drops of water and apply with a q-tip

8. Moisturize your face with aloe Vera gel or emu oil moisturizer

9. Follow the makeup and shaving guidelines. This is basically just using clean applicators when applying makeup and using clean razors when shaving and shaving in the direction of the hair

10. Take a sauna if on a holiday or on a detox plan

11. Take a ten minute sunbath

Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 6

Hello everybody. Uh! I find it so awkward starting these intros. But anyway, yesterday was my 6th day on the AcneNoMore program. Considering I was a person that ate meat twice a day, consumed dairy at every meal and loved all grain products, I'm surprisingly not hungry. Before the program I used to eat three meals and then two huge and unhealthy snacks in between. But even now when I'm almost solely eating fruits and veggies, I'm actually not that hungry. Especially since it's hard to make huge vegan meals, I really recommend having three meals and then two snacks in-between.

So for breakfast I had a smoothie with kale (chopped thinner this them), mango, pineapple and banana. The smoothie was decent but a little thick. Then I had some fruit salad for a snack with cantaloupe, strawberries, grapes, blueberries and pineapple. After I had a spinach salad with strawberries, blueberries and peach and no dressing which was amazing. Then I had tomatoes and carrots for a snack and then dinner... Dinner was horrible. So while everybody around me was eating delicious tacos, I had tomatoes and zucchini (yum) with avocado (yuk) on a bed of a green mix (blah) with some lemon juice as a dressing. Lets just say, not my best creation. And finally I had some licorice spice tea which was also was awful. So not a good day in the food department.

Finally, at the end of the night I did an egg yolk and lemon mask. Then after that I really didn't do all that much and fell asleep instantly. I'm sorry if all these updates are boring to you but for me it's like a personal journal. That I else open to the world of course.Remember that some day we will all be acne free and to never give up hope,

Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 5

Hey everybody, I know this update and my next few updates are a little late but that's because I was at my cottage and their's no cell service. So you'll just have to bare with me. But today I'm here to talk about my fifth day on the AcneNoMore program and it's actually not as hard as I thought. I know it's a little early to say that but so far I have already resisted tacos, ice cream, chips and candy. So I think my willpower is definitely growing. I think part of the reason I'm resisting so many of these delicious foods is because before I started the program I laid out every meal and snacks for every day. Now mind you I am OCD (not really I just say that) but I you are thinking about starting this program I strongly suggest you make a schedule as this will resist your temptation to drizzle some chocolate sauce or your bowl of strawberries.

Over all the day was alright and even though I had a bit of stress it was a pretty relaxing day. For breakfast I had a fruit cereal which included peach, strawberries and raspberries with almond milk. Then for a snack I had an orange for a snack. Next I had scrambled eggs with cucumber and tomato for lunch. Because I'm still in the NSC part of the program eggs are expectable in moderation. After that I forgot to have a second snack but that was okay because my dinner was very filling. Seeing as how it was my birthday dinner with my grand parents I decided to splurge a little before going on the detox and juicing diet that are coming up next. For dinner I had chicken with lemon and herb and Thai seasoning on them with a little salad and carrots. Absolutely fantastic meal.

Then finally at the end of the night I did a milk mask. If you have read my earlier post, you will know that I have tried a banana and milk mask and the banana failed. So this time I just did milk. Although the milk was a bit hard to get on, the mask was alright and it's supposed to whiten your face and help with discolouration. Even though I didn't see any immediate changes, the mask got a pass in my books and didn't irritate my skin.

Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 4

Hey everybody and welcome to my fourth update and the end of my fourth day of the AcneNoMore program. I am happy to report that it is going well and I am noticing results. Today was unfortunately pretty stressful. I don't know if it has any thing to do with what I'm eating but I was in a really bad mood today and was getting agitating at really little things.

I did the morning protocol as usual but I haven't done the ten minute sunbath any day this week :( I know, bad girl. For breakfast I had a smoothie with kale in it. The kale itself isn't that bad but it doesn't blend very well so you have to cut it up into super tiny pieces. Later for snack I had an apple for a snack. Then for lunch I had a veggie wrap with cucumber, tomato and carrots in a leave of lettuce. The lunch was followed by tomatoes and cucumber for snack and then another veggie wrap for dinner because I ran out of food. The meals were alright except for the fact that I ate way to many veggie wraps.

All in all the day was pretty good. And finally at the end of the night I did an egg and lemon mask which was nice. Then after that I went to bed and I've gotta say, I suck at meditating. Usually if I don't forget I'll just mediate in my head for a minute and then just forget and start thinking about something else. Today was a good day on the program and I'm so far liking the entire AcneNoMore program.
To all of you acne sufferers, I wish you the best of,Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 3

So yesterday was my third day of the AcneNoMore program and I can't lie, yesterday wasn't the best day. It all started when I first woke up by a pounding alarm at 7 which isn't that easy but it is so me seeing as how it's summer break. I woke up specifically to go for a run but my legs just felt like they were going to fall out from under me. So instead of a 30 jog I did a 15 minute walk which I guess is better then nothing followed by 50 sit-ups. Then, because I was all ready I'm such a good mood, I was screamed at by my lunatic mother. So basically my morning was full of stretch.

For breakfast I had planned to make raw buckwheat porridge but I couldn't find buckwheat in any stores. So instead I had some natural bran cereal in a red book, which I found out later is supposed to keep you "regular". Great. It was super disgusting and over cooked so I only ate half a serving with some strawberries on the side. The pills are become easier to swallow and I'm getting used to swallowing so many pills in a row. And they are making me feel sick anymore which is amazing.

Later in the day I had a banana for a snack, a corn and vegetable salad which was really good and then celery and peanut butter for my second snack. And finally I had salmon in some cooked edge vegetables for dinner. As part of the program during the NSC part, which I'm on now, you can eat fish, white meat and cooked vegetables sometimes. So this was my "unhealthy" meal for every three days.

Finally at night I followed my evening routine and I'm definitely getting more into the swing of it. However, part of the evening program includes a mask. Because I didn't mention it in the last post, my mask on day 2 was a milk and banana mask. This was a disaster. The milk part wasn't bad but none of the banana would stay on my face. And then last night I did a honey mask. Doing this mask wasn't hard although it did get in my hair. The problem I think is that is was to moisturizing for my oily skin and my skin was a little more red in the morning then the past two mornings.

Please feel free to these comments and tips and of course,
Good Luck

AcneNoMore Program Day 2

Hey guys! I hope you are all having a wonderful day and are hopefully finding some of my tips and tricks helpful. So yesterday was my second day of the program and I actually felt really good. So the first thing I did when I got up was look in the mirror, not specifically to look at my acne but to see if I was a greaseball. In the mornings before the program my face was never that greasy but it was still oily.  But as you guys know if you have read my last post, before bed I put vitamin OIL!!! all over my face. If any of you guys had oily skin I'm sure you understand the panic I had over putting oil on my face. But surprisingly when I woke up my skin just had a natural glow and a lot of the redness had gone away.

So after I was over the shock of the state of my skin, I went to workout. For exercise I thought I would do 20 minutes on the spin bike but it is a lot harder then it looks so I only lasted 8 minutes :(
After that I practiced my splits and did some cardio stuff like I did on the first day. By the way,  I you guys are looking for good workout tips checkout Pinterest cause that website is just amazing.

Now, lets talk about meals. For breakfast I had a smoothie that included banana, kale and orange. First of all the color freaked me out because it was this barf yellow and the. I obviously didn't cut the kale up enough so there where green bits floating around everywhere. Next for snack I had an apple and then apple avocado soup for lunch... This soup was absolutely disgusting. So all the recipe is, is apple, avocado, olive oil and water blended in a blender and then warmed in the microwave. I couldn't even finish my little serving it was so terrible. But on a brighter note, I then forgot to have a smack and had a kale salad for dinner. I really thought I was going to hate the kale because so many people say it doesn't taste good but it was really great and hardly has a flavour actually.

And the last thing I did was the same evening skin routine as day 1 and then went to bed and attempted to meditate. At the end of the day I was pretty happy besides my soup and am looking forward to the rewards that will come with following this program.

To all those acne sufferers out there,
Good Luck <3

AcneNoMore Program Day 1

Let me just say that I am so excited have finished my very first day of the AcneNoMore program. It seems like a long time coming seeing as how I bought the book a little less than a year ago. I know that the program will be tough but I'm up for the challenge and more than ready for clear skin.

Starting in the morning, I woke up after nine hours of sleep but the last two of those hours were really restless. Next I went on a 20 minute power walk where I was motivated to move even faster thanks to the killer deer flies. Thanks deer flies. After the run I continued with a 20 minute workout where I practiced my splits, stretched and did some other cardio exercises.

The I took my supplement... There are a lot of them which are all listed in my last post. The pills themselves weren't very hard to swallow but I almost didn't have the stamina to take all of them in a row. They did give me a little stomach ache but I seem to always get that with new supplements in the first few days. However the two liquid supplement were the worst of all and I had to drink tons of water after just to try and get the taste out of my mouth.

Next, after that workout I was staving so I had fruit cereal for breakfast. The cereal had almond milk with mango and banana. The cereal was okay and surprisingly filling but a little boring. After that I did the AcneNoMore morning protocol which I will be explaining in a future post. But essentially I included steaming your face, cleansing, a mask, exfoliating, spot treatments and moisturizing. This actually did take me the better part of an hour but I think most of that was due to making the mask, exfoliator and spot treatments. The skin products surprisingly didn't irritate my skin at all and my skin felt moisturized but still not greasy.

Then I had a peach for a snack and a raw burrito which was a piece of lettuce instead of a wrap and zucchini, cucumber, carrots and tomato. The burrito was actually pretty good besides the fact that it fell apart after the second bite. Next I had a apple for another snack and then a "Thai" pasta which was not Thai or pasta at all. The salad was just lettuce, zucchini peeled length wise, tomato, avocado and carrots with a balsamic dressing which was really good and filling.

Just so you guys know I have very oily skin, like greaseball oily. Not kidding here. However, by the end of the day my skin was oily but definitely not as oily as it usually was and it only really started getting oily by the last three hours. Obviously known of my zits had healed by the end of the night but my skin was hardly red which was good. Then I did the evening protocol which was somewhat similar to the morning routine. However I did had to put vitamin E oil on my face which I was a little skeptical about.

Finally at the end of the night I tired to meditate but I only lasted two minutes. All in all I was very pleased with the day and I tried to stress as little as possible.

And of course,
Good Luck

I know I am using a lot of products and believe me it's hard to swallow all of those pills every morning but I am following the program and hoping it's going to pay how. Also, the book mentions that any with oily skin (me!) should take pantethine and minimize the amount of EFAs and coconut oil. I definitely should be on this supplements but unfortunately forgot to order it. And, stay tuned for future posts where I will explain my morning and evening skin care routines.

And like always,
Good Luck :)

How to Start a New Acne Treatment

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while but I have been busy preparing for my first week on the AcneNoMore program which I will be starting on July 1st.

The first thing the AcneNoMore book recommends is to prepare yourselfs mentally for the transformation. The AcneNoMore is a very extreme program that requires mental strength and commitment. These preparation steps are aimed at pinpointing exactly why you want your acne gone and to change your state of mind.

In the past, I have always been weary of new acne products and their claims. I've always tried not to get excited about new skin care products in fear of being disappointed by them. But this time around, I am going to take a completely different approach. It's said that if you act like something great will happen, something great will.

The ebook suggests that you make a list with answers the following question:

1. What do you desire to be changed during this program and the reasons for it?

• My skin: my skin is by far my biggest insecurity and I feel like it really holds me back in social situations

• Have a body that is totally in shape: throughout the program, it suggests getting daily activity. But, being the extremist that I am, I have decided to get 60 minutes every day of total body cardio which includes running, the spin bike and several other activities that I found on Pinterest (amazing app). I really what to change my body because recently I've gained a few pounds and just for that added confidence

• My confidance: like I've said in previous posts, my confidance is really low and with this program I hope I can gain the confidance to be outgoing and my true self at school

• My health: this is something that I know is definitely going to improve during this program even if my skin doesn't. I really want to be healthy so I can be skinny, feel better and get rid of my constipation (I definitely don't have full on constipation but I do believe I have a small form of it)

Starting on July 1st I will be starting the AcneNoMore program and each day I will be keeping you up to date on my skin, how I felt, my workout plan and what I ate.

And of course,
Good Luck!

The Basic AcneNoMore Program

The AcneNoMore book comes with three different programs that vary slightly in which to cure your acne. The first program is the AcneNoMore quick results program. This program is a shortened version of the basic AcneNoMore program and is aimed at people that don't want to commit to such an extreme program and have tight schedules. Although it is less intense, I wouldn't recommend the quick results program as it warns you that this will not totally cure all of your acne.

The second program in the book is the advanced AcneNoMore program which is similar to the basic program but includes water fasting and more detox diets (comment below if you would like a post explaining detox diets). Throughout July and August I will not be following this program but I would recommend to those of you who are looking for a faster way to get rid of your acne or have cysts.

Finally is the basic AcneNoMore program which I will be following. Bear in mind that this program is a little extreme versus most acne regimens consisting only of external treatments. Bear in mind that I don't own any rights to this book or the program and am not telling you what to do and I am not a doctor. I am simply documenting what I will be doing throughout the next two months.

Weeks 1 and 2:

Five Days - NSC Plan
Two Days - Detox Diet
Three Days - Juicing
Two Days - 100% raw vegetables and fruits
Two Days - NSC Plan

Weeks 3 and 4:

Two Days - NSC Plan
Twelve Days - Liver and Gallbladder Flush Plan

Weeks 5 and 6:

Two Days - Detox Diet
Twelve Days - NSC Plan

Weeks 7 and 8:

Twelve Days - Liver and Gallbladder Flush Plan
Two Days - NSC Plan

Also, the program includes following the natural skin care plan, stress control techniques, getting sunlight and optimized sleep strategies which you follow throughout the whole program.

**I will be doing more blog posts about every single step in the program with tips and tricks, how to prepare and what each step does for you body and skin. So please **subscribe** (:P) so that you always know when I post for info on the program.**

I hope that one day you can either try this program or at least learn something so you can cure your acne. Remember that I haven't tried the program yet and am still on the same journey as you.

Good Luck

What is Acne No More?

Acne No More... is sounds to good to be true doesn't it? Well maybe. But I'm still hopeful. This is the eight week program that I will be starting on July 1st and will hopefully cure my acne. Acne No More is an ebook that costs around forty bucks. Now, if you go to the website, I'm going to warn you now: it looks like one hell of a scam. However, I still bought it and so far I'm not regretting it. By the way, all of what my I say about AcneNoMore or anything else are entirely my own opinions and nothing is sponsored.

Anyway, AcneNoMore is essentially a holistic and natural program that works from the inside out to cleanse your system to permanently cure your acne forever, or at least that's what it claims. Now don't get me wrong, I'm trying to sell you the book or convince you of anything. This is just my personal opinion, and starting on Canada Day, I will be starting the program.

Although, I'm trying desperately not to get my hopes up, I'm still really excited about the possibility of my acne disappearing. After reading this book, three times (I know, I'm crazy) I have come to the conclusion that acne is formed my genetic tendencies, toxins in your body and hormones. But, according to Mike Walden, the author, this can all be fixed with a combination of juice fasting, detoxing, eating extremely healthy, cutting animal meat, sugars, processed foods and cooked meals almost completely and cleansing and flushing your body of toxins. That and the addition of external skin care treatments (natural of course), stress release, meditation, supplements and sleep techniques all wrapped up into one, is the only solution to permanently cure your acne.

Throughout the summer, I will be keeping you updated on my skin's progress, my supplements, recipes for going vegan (which you essentially need to do to complete this program), eating raw, juice fasting and the ultimate question of "Does AcneNoMore cure your acne?" Just remember that these tips are all for you and I hope you find them useful. Know that clear skin is possible and I really hope this program can help me and all of you acne sufferers out there so that we live life happy and healthy.

Good Luck

My Story

Hey to all you acne sufferers out there. First of all, let me congratulate you on finding my blog. This journey that I'm about to take as been almost a year in the making. Let me just say, that I'm exactly like you and know all the pain and insecurities that come along with having acne.

I'm a 14 year old girl (almost 15!) and have been dealing with acne since I was ten. Naturally I'm a fairly shy person, but I believe that acne has really shut me in. My terrible skin is by far my biggest insecurity and is always on my mind. Although there are more people with acne to relate to in high school, elementary school was a nightmare. I remember walking through the halls seeing everyone's glowing, clear skin and then looking at my own, not knowing why my forehead was covered in red dots.

Since then I acne as my quickly spreading throughout my body. Currently I have acne on my forehead, temples, cheeks, chin and nose, as well as my neck and back. Throughout the years my confidence has slowly been climbing back up only to have yet another breakout and have my confidence come crashing back down. Since last summer, my acne as gotten so unbearable that I have resorted to covering my loads of makeup. The problem with acne is that makeup doesn't cover everything. Not only that but my oily skin creates my foundation not only to fade but literally slip off my skin, leaving me look like I just smeared Vaseline all over my face.

I don't think that anyone that has never experienced acne can ever fully understand. Of course there are tons of doctor's that research the subject but hardly any of them at all realize the true mental scars that it leaves you. For me, my makeup hides just a little bit of those scars. But unfortunately it's just a quick fix that I'm done hiding behind. I'm done not wanting to go to sleepovers for the fear of my friends seeing my skin. i'm done not wanting to go to a pool party because my makeup with wash off. For four years I have been constantly trying to figure out my skin and cure my acne, my many tears shed along the way.

Throughout the years I have tried what seems like almost every acne cleanser, toner and treatment in the drugstore, Proactiv, SkinID, the acne.org regimen and several natural acne supplements. But I'm ready to find a really cure, a permanent solution to my acne and oily skin. I'm ready to devote the time, energy and patience to finding a natural solution and not just coating my skin with chemicals. I believe that I have done the research and all the planning and finally found a program that could be what I'm looking for. Throughout this journey I will hold nothing back, share all of my tips and tricks, my emotional journey and my skin updates, as well as and update on everything I'm doing to help cure my acne.

This blog is not only for me but for you. Acne is nothing I would never wish upon anybody and I know the struggles you all face with insecurities, confidence and bullying. I hope that this blog will teach you something so that you to can cure your skin. If nothing else, I just want you guys to know that there are real people going through the same thing you are, and not just Justin Beiber on a Proactiv commercial with an airbrushed face.

I hope you guys know that you're not alone and good luck with your acne journey.
